Hello everyone! Finally after long months of being quiet from social media. I am finally back! Guess what? I passed the behind the wheel driving test last November 2020 and finally got my first ever car here in California. I got a brand new Hyundai Kona 2021 model delivered to my house by Hyundai. I am so happy driving from home to work. No more uber, or lyft rides. I am actually saving more because I don’t have to pay for my ride. I have no regrets, I love how driving gives me independence, to be able to go to different places, saving time, saving money. It is also safer to have your own ride especially during this pandemic.
Right now, I am planning to add seat covers, led lights, trash bins, accessories for my car. I am currently shopping for car stuffs online. I haven’t decide which one to buy because I have a lot of choices to choose from. Anyway, It’s been a long time since the last time I went to the gym. I am glad I was able to workout in the gym this morning after almost 3 months. I need to keep myself motivated and discpline. It’s really hard to stay fit during this pandemic especially when you work a lot of hours to help the unit because of COVID. I am so glad that our COvid cases are going down. I hope it will continue to drop so we can go back to our normal lives.
At work, everything is slowly going back to normal. Covid hospitalizations are going down, less overtime, and more opportunities to get a dayoff. In our unit, we started a campaign making short recognitions and appreciations to each other by writing something nice to your co-worker. I also attended a BLS and ACLS class recently for my certification renewal. Gosh! I’m done!
What else, yes! I got vaccinated! I got 2 doses of Pfizer COVID vaccine. Everything went well, no side effects at all, maybe just a little bit soreness for a one day and that’s it. I am glad and proud to say that most of my co-workers got the shot and all of them are all well.
I also got back in the gym to take care of myself and get back to shape. It’s been a while since I workout because of the restrictions here in California. It’s so hard to workout with my mask on but it would be harder if you get sick because of being lazy and not doing anything to take care of your body. I am happy that I few months before the surge, I was working out every other day that’s why I didn’t get sick or even feeling tired at all. I worked so many hours last year and I am happy and blessed to be here right now.
