Today, I went to F45 gym in Midtown, Sacramento to try it for the very first time. I went there at around 10:00 to check-in and temperature check. The class session is called the Hollywood class. It’s 1-hour class which is longer than the usual class of 45 minutes. The place was clean and with good equipment. They have different stations with different types of equipment and exercises. The coach will show you the different workouts before the beginning of the actual workout. There were two big TV screens that served as a guide with instructions and demonstrations on how to do the exercise. the staffs were all polite and accomodating. It was a fun workout, everybody was very dedicated and focused.
What I like most in this workout is the 10 seconds break to take a rest for each exercise and then 35 seconds of workout x 2 on each station. I love moving a lot and feel the rush to do the workout right away. The pieces of equipment are so impressive. It’s all clean, in place and the music is great. The workouts are a combination of both cardio and weight lifting. It’s not boring. It’s very enjoyable trying new challenging steps. But of course, I have some observations that I feel the workout is not effectively performed because of too many people to accommodate that the coach could hardly be sensitive to some factors like individual facilitation considering their right weight, form, and execution. If you are a newbie and never tried to work out before it could cause injury because you don’t know the proper techniques. I am not an expert. I actually consider myself as a newbie. But I used to work out not only at home but in a gym because as a newbie I want to make sure that I am learning the proper form and technique and what it would benefit my body especially my health. So even if I work out at home using an app I am still conscious enough that it achieves my fitness goals. Would I recommend this place? YES! to encourage them to try working out and do some assessment and set the fitness goals they want to achieve.
